Inventory Update

There's nothing we appreciate more than hearing our customers say they served one of our roaster chickens for a slow Sunday dinner with their family or that one of our chef prepared meals got them through a busy day with a little less stress. Hearing that you recommended us to your friend because we have the ‘best beef’ makes all the long days worth it as we work to not only produce high-quality meat but also get it direct to your front door each week.

This is a big job, at times gruelling and at others heartbreaking, but it's a job that we feel a great deal of pride in. These past couple years have felt a little uneasy when it comes to food security and with that, the importance of local food and having farmers in our community has become even more apparent. I feel so incredible lucky to live in an area with so much abundance of fresh seasonal produce year round coupled with local dairy and meat… I mean how lucky are we?!

I know that our online store often says we're ‘sold out’ of products you've been wanting and perhaps that can feel frustrating or even concerning when the news is taking about supply chain issues and empty grocery store shelves.

So I wanted to let you get a better idea of how we operate, we process meat every single week but we're rarely ever fully restocked. Sometimes it's chicken, often it's pork, and much less often we're getting restocked with our 21-day dry aged beef. There are times when butchers are busy creating sausages and others, our meat is filling the smoke house to bring you bacon and ham. What items get restocked depends on the week and what products we asked to have cut.

The important part of this is that I want you to know meat and eggs will keep on flowing into your home for your family.
